Estêvão Marques
Estêvão Marques is an artist, teacher, and researcher rooted in the Brazilian tradition, combining songs, musical instruments, dances, and stories in a creative way.
He is a teacher at the “International Orff Course San Francisco, USA” and the “Orff-Schulwerk Certification Course in Spain”. Estêvão shares his knowledge about children’s games, music, and his own playful pedagogy in courses around the world: Brazil, Austria, United States, Turkey, Colombia, Uruguay, Netherlands, Portugal, Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Thailand, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Taiwan, Spain, Argentina, and Australia.
He is the author of more than 20 books on art and education and the Director of the online course “Educando pela Brincadeira”. He has played with groups of great importance in the music scene, such as “Palavra Cantada”, “Chico César”, “Grupo Triii”, “Antônio Nobrega”, and the group “Barbatuques”.
Welcome to Music – Susie Davies-Splitter
Susie Davies-Splitter (M.Ed) is a dynamic music educator at Le Page Primary School in Melbourne, where she directs an F-6 music and performing arts program, choir, and band. A celebrated musician and award-winning composer, she is also an accredited ANCOS (Australian National Council of Orff Schulwerk) trainer and twice past President of VOSA (Victorian Orff Schulwerk Association).
Together with her husband Phil, Susie co-founded ‘Welcome to Music,’ a global enterprise providing innovative programs and resources for early childhood and primary education. She collaborates with Audrey Klein on the ‘Take Orff with…’ webinar series and hosts the bi-weekly Welcome to Music podcast and blog.
The ‘Welcome to Music’ series, known for its engaging and award-winning collection of original, traditional, jazz, and world music songs, includes activities, teacher books, ukulele and recorder programs, musicals, storybooks, and choral arrangements. This series is widely enjoyed by teachers, parents, and children across Australia and worldwide.
Susie’s vision is to simplify and enrich music education, fostering creativity and joy in children through music. She has composed hundreds of songs that are fun, humorous, and inspiring, always keeping the child’s experience at the heart of her work.

I’m a Musician-Singer-Songwriter-Artist.
Music is a key focus. From creating and performing a song to capturing “The Light of Music” with my unique artwork.
The Light of Music, my collective art project where I upcycle and give life to musical instruments transforming them into unique lamps with the use of many techniques from painting, pouring, sculptures to pyrography and in any direction the instrument will light the way and guide me.
And for those who appreciate the beauty of nature, I craft wooden boards, bottle openers and bowls adorned with intricate pyrography artwork. Each piece tells a story and carries a piece of my artistic spirit.
